2 - Go to the Cultura website (http://cultura.mit.edu/cultura06/)using INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY. If you haven’t already created an account do that. Choose ‘Italian’ as your language and ‘Università di Padova’ as your institution. When you’ve filled out the form, click on ‘go’. Then log in. Click on ‘current Cultura Exchanges’ in the middle of the menu or ‘Your Exchanges’. Then click on ‘Confronti (Italy-USA)’. The system was not working in class on Wednesday but I spoke with the technician and tried again and now it seems to be working. Please let me know if it isn't. Once you’re in the system, complete the Word Associations and Sentence Completion questionnaires in Italian in one sitting (you can’t go back and finish once you’ve clicked on ‘submit’).
- click on edit
- the password is “Xchange”
- put in your name and email
When you’re finished editing the page, click on save and then log out.
If you try and edit a page but someone else is editing it, you can’t. Be patient, keep your info in Word and try later.
Important: I see some of you have justifiably added pictures to the wiki. This is fine, but remember the copyright issues, e.g. don't use Google Images! For a reminder click on the "Add an Image to your post" on the How Tos menu in this blog.

I tried to log in Cultura but it still doesn't work. The error message is always the same, that is: "Welcome to Cultura
You are not currently registered for a Cultura Exchange.No exchanges found where your role is "student"". :-(

Hi Sarah. I did task 1 of the first group. But it is not my group. I filled and submitted the Associations and Sentence Completion questionnaires. Sorry about that. I though it was a common task.

I've noticed that we all have the same problem. I tried to log in this morning and the system still doesn't work; as Martina wrote the message is always the same "you are not currently registreted for a Cultura Exchange". I hope this problem will be solved as soon as possible.

Dear all,
I just tried again (logging in as a student) and it worked. When I login, I get the message you all see. But, if I then click on 'Current Exchanges' in the middle of the top-bar menu (between 'host' and 'profile'), I get sent to a window where I see 'Your Exchanges' and 'Confronti (Italy-USA)'. Then, by clicking on 'go' I get sent to the questionnaires.
Also remember to use Explorer and not Firefox.
Please let me know asap if it still doesn't work so that I can contact the people again.
Remember, using technology requires patience!!! ;-)
