I think my English is great, but I'm still an A1 in German :-( so I need to study a lot every day.

My name is Sabrina. I'm German and study English and Spanish at the University of Freiburg. The next five months I'm going to spend here in Padova to do an exchange program and learn Italian.
I love travelling, learning languages and getting to know other people. Apart from that, I also like to do all different kinds of sports, to go to the cinema and the theater.
How far my language skills are concerned, I would like to interact with my fellow students, extend my vocabulary and rethorical skills and eloquence such as talking in front of a group of people.
I would like to go to group B because I've got another course at 8.30. However, as I'm still not sure if I can take part in this class, my preference is not a priority;-)

Hi, I'm Elisa (Elisa De Polo, 583942-LSC), I'm 24 and I live in Treviso. I love reading, writing and going to the cinema.
I sometimes still feel quite nervous when speaking with foreign people because I know they're judging me, so I think I have to practice a lot in order to be able to cope with different situations. I think I also have to improve my writing skills in order to be able to write a good thesis.
I would prefer to be in group B (Thursday 10.30-12.00) since I have Spanish at 8.30.

Hi! My name is Chiara and like all of you I'm attending my last semester at the University. I really don't know what I will do after graduation, but I hope to find an interesting job where the use of languages is also required.
With regard to language and communication, I don't feel very good in oral speaking because I 've never had the opportunity to practice and so I feel insecure of myself.

But I think they are similar between them in some aspects. I hope to graduate at the end of 2009 and then to find a good job, which requires foreign language knowledge. Thus I need to improve my oral skills (accuracy and fluency), and writing skills (vocabulary and accuracy), too.

Have a nice semester!!
