Welcome to our course blog! This blog will be our virtual classroom where we can exchange messages, thoughts, ideas and where I will assign tasks. As you can see there are many previous messages on this blog. We are using the same blog that I used with students in the '06-'07 school year. I am a firm believer that we have a lot to learn from each other so please feel free to start taking a look around. Our activities will be similar to but not the same as those of last year's course and the contributors and blogs here on the right will change as you 'take over' this blog, but for now you might find it interesting to explore what your peers before you have done.
Class times
As is so often the case here in Italy, there are many, many students. We were lucky last year with only 28! Obviously my aim is to give you as much as I can but with many of you my time will have to be divided up. I tried, on Wednesday, to hear what your requests were for scheduling. For Wednesday I believe I have met everyone's needs. This is not the case for Monday. On Monday, 32 of you requested 14.30, but there are only 25 computers in the lab (if they are all working, which they often aren't) whereas only 10-11 at 15.30 and 16.30. I, therefore, have to ask who of you is available to switch to 15.30 or 16.30. I would like you to carefully reflect on whether it is absolutely impossible or not for you to come at these times. If it is not, please offer to come at these other times knowing, of course, that since there are fewer of you, you will get more attention from me :-) I trust that between now and Monday, at least 8 of you will opt for one of the other times. If you are willing to do so, rather than send me an email, please send a comment to this blog post (see button below). Also, if you were not in class on Wednesday, please communicate with me via the blog. This way we can start using our blog. Of course, if you have problems using the blog, send an email.

hello, I'm also not on the list yet. I could come on Monday at 15.30, but also have a class starting at 16.30, so hope that is fine. On Wednesday I would like to come on 11.30. One more important question...where are the classes? thanks, Nina Horakova

hello, I'm really sorry but I just found out my timetable for the Italian language course which is mandatory for Erasmus students. Unfortunatly on Monday it is overlapping with this course(I am in the group starting at 15.30) so I was wondering whether it would be possible to move into the session starting at 16.30. Thanks a lot. Nina
