Group C: Letizia e-tivity 2

Hi everybody!
As I like shopping very much and I'm a little a fashion victim, on Technorati I have searched for the tag "shopping". After a search of so many hours on the blogs concerning this term I have found some blogs which I think they are very interesting...
The url of the first blog I suggest to you is: http://mightygoods.com/
This is a shopping weblog, people look for things they really like, then they put them on the blog, where you can find them. I think this is a vey nice idea: you can put the things you want to sell on the blog and at the same time you can buy what you need. Here there's any kind of thing you want, even the most unthinkable and strange, like an embroidered cocktail napkin set, a copper still, an espresso machine, an airplane recycled tire swing and other things like these.
Another interesting blogs, but only for very fashion victims girls is http://outblush.com/ and http://beatyaddict.blogspot.com/
These are blogs for girls who love to shop. There is a staff who digs up the best clothes, home stuff, beauty items and more. New items are posted every week. The staff recommends to bookmark them, sign up for email updates or grab their RSS feed and to send tips and requests.
On these blogs you can find moreover clothes, accessorizes, shoes, shower gel, fragrances, body creams and all the must-haves of the newest make up.
I'm not a make up addict, but, even if I don't like much make up on my face I love make up in general!!! On the second site you can also find an encyclopedia of mascara!!!
http://ethnicdenim.com/fashion-blog is an interesting blog about Overstock.com, a huge selection of jewelry at very competitive prices. From wedding jewelry, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and all the types of rings the selections are tremendous. Overstock gets a lot of their products from leading brand names and since they buy inventory in huge quantities the person that benefits the most is the buyer, with the low prices. If you get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of products on their site then just take a deep breath and use their search function to filter by category, metal, price, size and even gemstone! With jewelry to fit every kind of taste, budget and style you can surely find something that will catch your fancy. If you don’t feel like shopping for yourself then you can buy gift cards for your loved ones.
I have tried to visited another blog that in my opinion could be very interesting but it isn't possible to see the page, I hope you can see it, the site is: http://thebudgetfashionista.com/. It is a blog who teaches te world to be fabulous for less!!!
I have choosen these blogs because I think on it you can find things that normally you don't find in shops!
The style is, in all the blogs I visited, very simple, illustrative and exemplificative. In most of the blogs there are images and next to it an explanation which illustrates and presents a product in a very simple way: I think this is the best way to catch reader's attention. A too long description can be boring!!!
I hope you find interesting the blogs I suggest to you!!!
Bye

Hi Letizia!
You put so many blogs! I tried to visit all of them but actually I couldn't see Beautyaddict and the Budgetfashionista: I tried several times but their pages didn't open: probably it is my computer which doesn't work today, I will try later! Anyway I visited the other three blogs and I found them really nice! Mightygoods and Outblush do not look like real blogs, they look more like "little e-bays" but I might be wrong..
I appreciated Ethnicdenim: there a couple of interesting posts about Vivienne Westwood and Armani on Second Life that I really enjoyed reading. I didn't explored all the blogs you selected fully, it takes a lot of time to read all the posts and click on the links: I just entered and had a look around but I like the blogs and the websites about fashion so I had a lot of fun in visiting those you selected!

Hi Letizia,
I had some problems with "beautyaddict". Anyway, as Giada wrote, I found that some of the blogs you chose look like e-bay. It seemed to me that their focus is on selling and not on exchanging opinions.
Their layouts are very stylish, colourful and appealing. Besides there are many images of the goods.
These blogs clearly show that you can transmit a message not only with words, but also with many other elements (images, colours, layout...).
bye bye

Hi Letizia!
I agree with Giada...these "little e-bays" which have little to do with comments and blog speeches. However they are still examples of how a blog can be organized or used. The most I enjoyed with was Ethnic Denim which seems to be a fashion on-line magazine. The bugetfashionista I liked as well...its masters use a more confidential and funny tone and I enjoy reading and catching their ideas.
Some tips: you should leave a space between paragraphs.
Good job Letizia!
Bye

Hi Letizia!
I enjoyed myself very much in visiting the weblogs you chose, since I am actually a shopping-addicted like you!!! As Giada and Sara wrote, the most interesting weblog is Ethnic Denim: there you can really find anything you want or like, from the simplest accessories to the strangest things (I've even found pillows made with ecological material!!!)
Besides I agree with you girls in saying that these weblogs seem like "little e-bays", rather than blogs where people can interact with each other; however, I agree with you Letizia in saying that they are really useful if you want to buy things that you can't absolutely find in shops!
See you around!
Silvia
